Breakfast was changed to 8:30 with Church Service to be at 9:30
Non-denominational religious service presented by Devon Burke and
Brent Fletcher.
10:03 A.M. Meeting began with Lodge Information Sheets being
handed out for new members to fill out, also to anyone who had not
done so as a past member.
Ed Laursen, Ceremonies Adviser, gathered the current members and
the Lodge Election was held.
Alex Roberts is the newly elected Lodge Chief
He selected Devon Burke as Lodge Vice-Chief.
Mike Green continues to be Lodge Secretary
Josh Daybrest is the new Treasurer
Outgoing Lodge Chief Seth Scott was introduced and praised for
his efforts over the past 1-1/2 years. He has been asked to be
Vice-Chief in charge of Operations for special projects working
with Norm.
A brief overview of the Lodge had been given Saturday night at
the cracker barrel following the Brotherhood and Ordeal Ceremonies.
The two new Brotherhood members, Rick Barnes and Ron Schuttler
were introduced and welcomed.
Ceremony Team member A.J. Brechtel was commended by the group
for being the first to have memorized his part in the Ordeal Ceremony
with short planning notice. The teams and Ed did an outstanding job
despite the weather and all new team except for two members with
experience.
All the Lodge members were excused to leave due to numerous
appointments and length of travel. Phil Rogers and Phyllis Clingman
were complimented on the outstanding food preparation and service
for the weekend.
The meeting was ended at 10:36 a.m., May 16, 1999
Ed, Phil, Phyllis and Norm took cleanup and storage duties while
the group dispersed. Many thanks from the Lodge for your efforts
over-and-above the call of duty, Brothers.
The next Executive Board meeting is June 6, 1999 at the Scout Office at 3:00pm.

The OA Executive Board meeting was called to order at 3:01pm by Lodge Chief Seth Scott with the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance and the Obligation of the OA.
Secretary Mike Green then read the minutes of the last meeting.
Old Business:
NOAC 2000:
It was suggested a lodge flap be designed with the permission of Harley Davidson Company picturing a Harley Davidson motorcycle and a "miles from Wall Drug" or "miles from Sturgis" logo. This will have to be coordinated with Harley Davidson. (OPEN)
45th year Lodge Anniversary Patch:
A design for the patch is currently being developed. (OPEN)
The designs for the patch have been lost in the postal system. New designs are scheduled to be mailed by May 5 and will be discussed May 16th. (OPEN)
A meeting with the Ziolkowski family will be scheduled for approval of the design. (OPEN)
Adopt a Trail Program:
A meeting needs to be coordinated with the Forest Service and the OA for further plans. (OPEN)
Executive Board Officer Elections:
The Lodge Executive Board Elections are upcoming. Anyone interested in running for an office are asked to contact Sharon Bunch. (OPEN)
The Lodge Executive Committee discussed delaying the Executive Board Elections until June; however, the greater number of Lodge members who will be in attendance at the Ordeal/Brotherhood Weekend lead to the decision to try to hold the elections Friday, May 14, weather allowing. In the event this does not work out, a later date will be decided upon at the General Meeting, Sunday, May 16, at 10:00am. (CLOSED)

Lodge Spring Fellowship:
Plans were finalized for the May 14-16 Lodge Spring Fellowship/Ordeal-Brotherhood Weekend. (CLOSED)
Members are asked to be at Medicine Mountain Scout Ranch by 5:00 pm on the May 14. Ordeal Candidates are asked to be at Medicine Mountain Scout Ranch by 6:30pm on May 14.(CLOSED)
