Minutes from the August 8, 1999 meeting were read by Mike Green/Secretary and approved.
OLD BUSINESS:
Josh Daybrest/Treasurer informed all that dues are due December 1, 1999. (CLOSED)
A meeting with the Forest Service needs to be set-up for coordination of the Trail from MMSR to Bear Butte - Steve Denison will coordinate the meeting (OPEN)
The Winter Banquet will be held November 6 at 5:00pm at Carini's. Registration is due by October 29th. This will be a buffet style meal and will be $10.00. $12.00 if paid at the door. (CLOSED)
NOAC 2000 cost will be approximately $225/$240 for registration and $500 for roundtrip airfare. The $50.00 registration fee is due. (OPEN)
All Turquoise patches have been sold and the Copper Issue #2 is now available. (CLOSED)
NEW BUSINESS:
Names are due in to the Lodge by November 1 for the Coleman Scholarship and the Lodge will pick one person for nomiation to National on November 15. (CLOSED)
Troop/Team leaders will be one per unit, appointed by the SPL with approval of the SM. (CLOSED)
American Indian Scouting Association (AISA) is Jul 22-27, 2000 at SDSMT. Help is needed transporting personnel and the luggage from the airport to SDSMT. (OPEN)
National Jamboree 2001 will be held at Fort AP Hill VA. The Council will have one full troop of 36 boys (4 patrols) and 4 adults. Estimated cost will be $2200 - $2400 per boy and $500-$1000 per adult. (CLOSED)
The Council Camping Committee approved the permanent OA Ceremony Grounds. (CLOSED)
Food Service bids are being accepted for the 2001 Section Conclave, which is hosted by our lodge. (OPEN)
