The 2000 Section Conclave will be held in Cody, Wyoming During April. Details for the conclave are still being finalized and will be posted here once they become available.
Don't know what a conclave is...Well, basically, it's where members of the four lodges (Apoxy-Aio, Kola, Tatokainyanka, and ours) in the W5C Section (that's our section) get together for a weekend of fellowship and training. Last year training was conducted on such things as Camp Promotions, OA History, Service, Publications, Unit Elections, Lodge Forum, Elangomat, Leadership, and Ceremonies.
In addition to the excellent training opportunity there were times for a tour of Devil's Tower, a 3 on 3 basketball tournament, table tennis, climbing competition, a triathlon, and racquetball. This years conclave promises to be more of the same...fun and fellowship.
